Shoot for The New Vintage Clothing Company, with step by step instructions. Makeup artist Naomi Mckeever
In this post I've included images from my second shoot for the 'The new vintage clothing company'. I worked with the same Leamington spa based photographer Yvette Bessels.
We used female and male models; for step by step male grooming from this shoot refer to my previous post http://www.naomimckeever.com/archives/751
Cristina's skin has been prepped and now is ready for action.
At this stage I've applied foundation and I'm using eye shadow to create definition around her eyes, in subtle browns as I don't want it to clash with any of the clothes she will be modelling. When doing fashion makeup you have to take into consideration the clothes you are working with, the designers want their pieces to be the focal point.
For this look I wanted separated liner with a white band in between the two liners. I started by drawing the white lines, for this I used white pigment mixed with eye liner mixing medium, both from MAC pro. Alternatively you could use white eye shadow mixed with water.
I then used pencil liner on the bottom lash line and softened. Using MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack add the liner top and bottom.
I wanted a structured Audrey Hepburn brow; for this I used MAC Fluidline eye liner in Dipdown, this is a gel based liner so is great for crisp brows. If you would like your brows even sharper its useful to go round them with concealer and an angle brush.
